Holmes Dance Academy is a friendly, family-run dance school based in Baildon, offering a wide range of classes for children up to 17, as well as adult dance classes including ballet, tap and seated dance.

We are passionate about creating a fun, inclusive and supportive environment where every student can grow in confidence, develop new skills and enjoy their love of dance. We also offer additional needs dance classes, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to take part and feel part of our dance family.

Our classes are led by a team of highly qualified teachers, alongside our Principal, Francine Holmes, who brings a wealth of experience in dance and performing arts. Her energy and dedication ensure every class is engaging, encouraging and enjoyable for all.

Students have the opportunity to perform in our annual shows, giving them the chance to build confidence, showcase their progress and be part of something special.

Most of our children’s classes take place at Baildon Methodist Church in their purpose-built studio, with additional classes held at Sandal Primary School. For parents, there’s the option to relax nearby with local amenities or head off knowing your child is in safe, experienced hands.
